Doug McCrary

Doug McCrary is a Director at Harbert Management Corporation where he manages the investments of several private equity funds dedicated to infrastructure in North America.

Before joining Harbert, Doug was a Vice President in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs, providing strategic and financial advice to clients in the power and utilities industry. Prior to attending Columbia Business School, Doug was a management consultant with Accenture focusing on post-merger implementation and strategic change initiatives for financial services companies. 

Doug graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a B.S. in Economics and Engineering Science and received an M.B.A. with honors from Columbia Business School. While at CBS, Doug was music director of the Follies rock band and Vice President of the Energy Club. 

Doug currently lives in Birmingham, Alabama with his wife, Lisa, and three children: Lucy, Samantha, and Charlie.
