Jon Kornik
Jon Kornik is a Principal in Google's Energy Access & Investments team, focused on investing in clean energy and delivering energy access in emerging markets. Previously he worked for McKinsey & Company focused on clean energy and mining; founded the African of South Pole Group, a Swiss carbon finance and climate consulting firm; co-founded Selador Capital, an innovation incubator for social enterprises in Southern Africa; and independently consulted on clean energy and sustainability to South African Government, Intel, Nike and others. In his spare time, Jon loves running to audiobooks, snowboarding, traveling and being taught how to grow up by his daughter.
Jon has a Bachelor of Business Science and Masters in Finance from the University of Cape Town and a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia Business School.
