Joe Brown
After graduating Columbia Business School, Joe joined J.P. Morgan as an associate in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications group. Prior to business school, Joe worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York City where he traded and structured Collateral Loan Obligations. While at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Joe worked on Maiden Lane III, one of the firm’s largest transactions, which was a portfolio backed by mortgage-linked bonds with a face value of $47 billion. Prior to Bank of America Merrill Lynch Joe worked on the algorithmic equity trading desk at Barclays Capital, where he worked for 2 years after a short period at Lehman Brothers.
Joe attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a concentration in Finance. While at the University of Pennsylvania, Joe played cornerback on the varsity football team and was Captain of the varsity track team, competing in the 60m, 100m and 200m sprints.
Joe grew up in Lawrenceville, New Jersey where he attended the Lawrenceville School. Joe’s interests include technology & media, music, running, cycling, snowboarding and traveling.
