Eric Langerman

Eric is a Principal with Ridgemont Equity Partners, a Charlotte-based middle market private equity firm with over $8.5 billion in assets under management, that has provided buyout and growth capital to industry-leading companies in the business and tech-enabled services, industrial growth, and healthcare sectors for nearly three decades. Previously, Eric worked for Barings, a Charlotte-based asset management firm, and Sentinel Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm. Eric began his career as an investment banking analyst at McColl Partners, an investment banking firm.

Eric grew up in Greensboro, NC and received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008 with a major in Business Administration and a minor in English. Eric received his MBA from Columbia Business School in 2016, where he graduated with Dean’s Honors and Distinction (top 5% of graduating class). He was a recipient of Columbia's Feldberg Fellowship, a full tuition merit scholarship in honor of former Dean Feldberg.

Eric’s interests include golf, running, skiing, BBQ, and Tar Heels sports.
