YI DING

An MBA candidate at Columbia Business School, Yi is the first Chinese Feldberg Fellow.

Before founding his current company, Triple A Investment (a Shanghai, China registered investing firm), Yi worked in the private equity, senior care and consulting industries. His newly established fund employs his broad skill set and knowledge base towards the trading of derivatives, particularly, futures and options.

Born and raised in the small city of Yangzhou, China, Yi attended university at George Washington University in America and considers Washington D.C. as his hometown in the US.

In his spare time, Yi volunteers at Lang Lang Music Foundation, an international charity organization based in both New York and Beijing committed to help children from underprivileged backgrounds enjoy music and art and thus beauty in life. Although his experience has been entirely in finance, Yi’s “nature of reality” is based around astronomy and space exploring. Boarding a spaceship and traveling to another planet or even galaxy has been is his dream.
