Scott Asher

Scott Asher is currently Chief Data Officer at Xantium, a global multi-strategy investment group that specializing in both systematic investments and applying a systematic approach to non-systematic investments.

Previously Scott has been co-head of Systematic Equities Trading at the Chicago Trading Company, founding CTO of the PDT Mosaic Funds and Head of Data for the PDT Partners group, and Head of Data for Hudson River Trading.

In addition to his quantitative investment experience, Scott was a co-founder and and CTO of NoHo Medical, a digital healthcare company focused on COPD.

Scott graduated from Harvard College in 2002 with a B.A. in Computer Science, and received his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School in 2009. Scott attended CBS as a recipient of the prestigious Feldberg fellowship.

Scott's interests are music, specifically opera - which he briefly pursued as a young singer - technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. He is involved with several local and national organizations including the Frick Museum, the Metropolitan Opera, Children for Children, and the Metropolitan Museum. He is a frontstage member of the Blue Hill Troupe (BHT) and has performed in recent BHT productions including starring as Guiseppe in The Gondoliers.
