Satoshi is a 2020 alum of Columbia Business School. Prior to attending business school, Satoshi worked at One Acre Fund in the New Country Expansion team to grow and scale the organization’s Zambia operations based in Kabwe. He focused on creating and optimizing supply chain functions to deliver thousands of tons of farming inputs to rural farmers across central Zambia. Before One Acre Fund, Satoshi was a Fellow at TechnoServe in Swaziland, where he advised government and private sector entities on market segmentation and entry projects and regulatory analysis in the agricultural space. Prior to TechnoServe, Satoshi was a senior consulting analyst at Accenture, where he focused on clients in the Products industry.
Satoshi graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor in Business Administration in Supply Chain Management and a minor in Economics. He grew up in Tokyo, Shanghai, and later, Oklahoma and Texas.
In his down time, Satoshi enjoys playing pick-up basketball, reading books ranging from fiction to memoirs, traveling off-the-beaten-path on a low budget, and eating Asian cuisine in particular.
