T. Sean McKean

Sean McKean advises CEOs and C-suite leaders in healthcare and other industries to help accelerate them to full potential. Sean leads engagements for premier corporate and private equity clients on leadership development, CEO succession, high stakes leadership decisions and team effectiveness.

Prior to ghSMART, Sean was an Associate Partner at Bain & Company, where he was one of the leaders in the healthcare practice and worked with global Fortune 500 companies across a wide range of industries. During his tenure at Bain, Sean spent several years leading teams and advising clients on growth strategy, cost transformation, organizational design and merger integrations. Sean also presented at multiple America’s Leadership Team Meetings on topics ranging from “Capturing the Performance Advantage of Scale in Healthcare” to “Inspirational Leadership 2.0.” During his time at Bain, he was active in recruiting efforts, a top-rated trainer and a consultant promotion committee member. He also led the New York chapter of Latinos at Bain. Prior to Bain, Sean worked as consultant at CCS Fundraising. He began his career as a teacher in New York City through Teach for America.

Sean earned an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he received Dean’s Honors, and graduated with an honors degree in Government from Harvard College.

He lives in New York City with his wife, daughter and son, and enjoys running (7 marathons), basketball and tennis. He also is involved in a variety of community organizations focused on youth and education and immigrants’ rights.
