Victor Eng
Victor works at YouTube, leading product innovation, product excellence, and go-to-market strategy for Search & Discovery, News, and Virtual Reality. Prior to YouTube, Victor spent several years in the Media & Tech industry as the Vice President of Strategy & Operations for MikMak, a commerce platform for social video, and as an MBA summer intern at Walt Disney Studios' strategy group, focused on Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Lucas Films.
Victor's early career was spent on Wall Street where he worked in Private Equity at Angelo, Gordon & Co., focusing on the consumer, retail, and specialty finance sectors, and in Investment Banking at Goldman, Sachs & Co. within the Leveraged Finance Group. Victor also did a Fellowship with Out Leadership, spearheading LGBTQ leadership summits with CEO's of Fortune 500 companies in Hong Kong, London, and New York.
Victor received his MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School, where he was a Feldberg Fellow, Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Scholar, and McKinsey Emerging Leaders Scholar. He graduated magna cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Finance and a minor in East Asian Languages and Civilizations.
Victor’s interests include angel investing, cooking, fine dining, fitness, and travel. He has sat on the Executive Boards and founded Professional Engagement Committees for LGBTQ nonprofits including Out for Undergrad, OutRight Action International, and the Trevor Project. He also leads the global LGBTQ employee resource group at YouTube.
